He is survived by: his siblings, Vernon Skelton, Earl Skelton, Lois Daves and Betty Jo Brown; his children, Mike Skelton (Karen) of Greenville, MS, Marilyn "Sissy" Skelton of Tupelo, MS and Andi Epes (Pierce) of Water Valley, MS; and his grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Brett Skelton, Tyler Epes, Shade Shaffer, Sydney Epes, Nicole Schuler and Jacob Skelton. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
