He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman A. Elfer, Sr. and Eunice Bergeron Elfer; and his siblings, Sharleen Rumore, Whitney Elfer and Herman A. Elfer, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Boone Elfer; his children, Jeremy Strahin (Brandy), Tina Rigaud (Anson), Ashley Young (Eric), Lisa Elfer and Wayne Elfer, Jr.; his grandchildren, Dylan, Mia, Jeremy, Abigail, Khloe, Evan, Cole and Jayden; his stepgrandchildren, Paige, Anson Jr., Amber and Allie; and his siblings, Tracey Garland (Danny), Terri Sanders and Johnny Rivers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
