He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry Lavigne and Ena Mae Farmer Lavigne; and his siblings, Harold Lavigne, Albert "Shorty" Joseph Lavigne, Hooper Lavigne, Linda Lavigne Pitre, Alice Lavigne Delaney, Kay Lavigne Brown and Addie Mae Lavigne.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Johnson Lavigne; his son Bradley Carl Lavigne (Ashley); his grandchildren, Elijah Steven Lavigne, Dallas Chandler Taylor, Alexis Hawthorne (Colby) and Chase Thigpen (Leah); his great grandchildren, Kimberlynn, Ryan and Rhett; and his siblings, Glenda Lavigne Alligood, Faye Lavigne Bradshaw, Willie Robert Lavigne and John Henry Lavigne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
