He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Cooper and Thelma Marie Galey Cooper; his brother Roger Cooper; and his niece Lacey Buras. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Johnson Cooper; his sons, Chance Michael Cooper (Crystal) and Brett Harris Cooper; his grandchildren, Lexi, Kinlee and Brynna; his stepgranddaughters, Anna and Laila; his siblings, Galya Cooper Porter, Ricky Cooper (Mary) and Philip Cooper; and his nieces and nephews, Joelle Reed, Mitchell Johnson, Emily Soultz, Lesley Baggett and Jason Porter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466).
