He is survived by: his mother Vonnie "Marie" Smith; his son Matthew Smith (Jessica); his siblings, Maurice "Sonny" Smith (Elaine), James Michael Smith (Rene) and Martha Kaye (Buck); and his grandchildren, Natalie Rene Smith, Kelsie Lyn Smith and Alaina Bailey Smith.
