He is survived by: his wife Deborah Galiano; his stepchildren, Starr Michele Grenat of St. Bernard, Louisiana and Kerry Michael Grenat, Jr. (Christina) of Temecula, California; his grandchildren, Caroline E. Breaux, Mason A. Breaux, Isaac M. Grenat, Liliana E. Grenat and Phoenix K. Grenat; and his great grandchildren, Eli J. Whitney and Ensley M. Whitney.
