It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawson Allen Smith Jr. of Carriere, Mississippi, born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Allen Smith, Sr. and Elizabeth Rainey Smith. He is survived by: his wife Susan Sandidge Smith; his sons, Lawson Allen Smith, III (Tina) and Kevin Matthew Smith (Jenny); and his siblings, Tom Smith, Sheila Robin (Tommy) and Oileen Meeks (Walter). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
