It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Berry Stafford Sr. of Carriere, Mississippi, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Ray'Buddy" Stafford and Ella Frances Stines Stafford. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lynn Lee Stafford; his children, Lynn Stafford Smith and John Berry "Jay" Stafford Jr. (Charlena); his grandchildren, Celina Wilkerson (Bradley Dobson), Grace Elrod (Bradly), MyKayla Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Monyee Jack, Malaysia Jack, Jaylen Stafford and Jayce Stafford; his great grandchild Braven Wilkerson; and his siblings, W. Stafford (Joann) and Sondra Crain (Ronald). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church Carriere Cemetery Fund.
