He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Clarence Strahan and Lydia Lucille Jones; and his brother Dan Strahan. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Louise Strahan; his children, Lisa Chavers (Alan), Jay Strahan (Katrina) and Joey Strahan (Robin); his grandchildren, Rebekah Light (Josh), Cody Chavers (Samantha), Bethany Torres (Fabian), Joel Strahan, Sydney Strahan and Amy Strahan; his great grandchildren, Channing Light, Caroline Light and Christopher Torres; and his siblings, Donald Strahan, Gaylon Moran (Charles) and Dwight Strahan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Palestine Cemetery (2336 Palestine Rd, Picayune, MS 39466).
