She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Buffington and Myrtle Tew Buffington; her husband Adrian Arthur Dean; her son David Arthur Dean; her brothers, Roger Clark Buffington and Frank Allen Buffington; and her granddaughter Julianna Faith Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Houchin (Quinn), Casey Fleming (Chris) and Brent Dean (Edna); her sister Gaynell Shirley; and her grandchildren, Collin Fleming (Kayla), Clay Fleming (Megan), Rachel Dean, Danielle Dean, Arianna Dean, Isabella Dean, Olivia Dunlap (Connor), Joshua Dean and Molly Houchin. She is also survived by her 7 great grandchildren; and her 4 nephews.
