He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira and Amy Lossett, Sr.; his brother Ira "Buddy" Lossett, Jr.; and his grandson Michael Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Bettye Lossett (Davis); his children, Dawn Cooper (Bill) of Picayune, MS, David Lossett, Jr. (Kathleen) of Kileen, TX, Denise Lossett of Biloxi, MS, Shawna Dillard of Carriere, MS, Jason Odom (Vickie) of Picayune, MS and Lori Pippen (Shannon) of Carriere, MS; and his brother Raymond Lossett of Carriere, MS. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
