He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Irwin Salathe and Thelma Pigrenet Salathe; and his brother-in-law Keith Shally. He is survived by: his sister Martha Shally (Keith); his niece Linda Ann Lang Thomas; his great-nieces, Gabrielle Thomas and Morgan Thomas; and his great-nephew Gavin Thomas.
