He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemon D. Jeffcoat and Della M. Jeffcoat; his daughter Wanda A. Jeffcoat; his siblings, Randy W. Jeffcoat and Doris J. Tarter; his parents-in-law, Blue Hess, Sr and Anna Buras Acereto; and also Alfonso Acereto.
He is survived by: his friend Windy Hess Jeffcoat of Carriere; his children, Charles David Jeffcoat, Jr (Tina) of Carriere, Kevin T. Jeffcoat (Tracy) of Gretna and Dawn J. Serpas (Tommy) of Belle Chasse; his stepdaughters, Rachel G. Tankersley (Eric) of Plaquemine and Rachelle G. Suir (Glenn) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Nicole J. Vera (Macedonio) of Gulfport, Lacey J. Lee (Nicky) of Picayune, Stephen Jeffcoat (Katie) of New Orleans, Danielle J. Wilson (Adam) of Brooklyn, Megan S. Lacoste (Cory) of Belle Chasse, Calleigh G. Suir of Lafayette, Destiny Tankersley of Plaquemine and Daniel Tankersley of Plaquemine; and his great grandchildren, Dalton, Clayton, Brooklyn Lee, Alejandro, Rosa, Sofia and Simon Vera.
