She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ely Golden and Venora Cynthia Rogers Golden; her husband Rev. William Gary Smith, Sr.; and her son William Gary Smith, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Jo Smith and Jonathan Lee Smith; her grandchildren, Jonathan Seth Smith, Summer Joy Bauer, Sunni Melissa Russell and Justin Bruce Smith; and her great grandchildren, Presley Bauer, Paris Bauer, Piper Bauer, Banx Bauer, Tucker Smith, Tyke Smith, Titan Smith, Trac Smith, Lock Russell, Lux Russell, Lundi Russell, Bae Russell, Branson Smith and Colton Smith.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Carriere (7264 HWY. 11, Carriere, MS 39426). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carriere Cemetery (7264 HWY. 11, Carriere, MS 39426).
