He was predeceased by: his grandfather Vernon D. Smith; and his aunt Kimberly Fillingame. He is survived by: his parents, Benjamin Sones and Rebecca K. Smith Sones; his grandparents, Stephen B. Sones, Michelene R. Sones, Billie Jean Smith and Hollie; his siblings, Constsance Mariee Sones, Jeannie M. Koenig (Mark), Stephen D. Sones and Sarah G. Sones; his nephews, Maverick and Carter Koenig; and his uncles, Billy Smith and Denny Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Life Church (801 Hwy 11 S, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Cemetery (1399 MS-589, Purvis, MS 39475).
