He was predeceased by: his parents, Author Joseph Schloegel, Sr. and Anna Mae Parr Schloegel; and his sisters, Audrey Vindel and Ann Applebee. He is survived by: his wife Diana Rita Schloegel; his children, Rickey Cavalier, Roxanne Jones, Albert Schloegel, Jr. (Coylean), Daniel Schloegel (Melanie) and Sherrie Pulliam; and his brother Arthur Schloegel (Shirley). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
