He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Stepp and Carrie Hopper Stepp; his son Clarence Ray Stepp; his grandchild Marrie Stepp; and his great grandchild Marshall Luke Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jean Stepp; his sons, Vurlon Stepp, Jr (Kathy) and Richard Stepp (Cindy); his grandchildren, Michael Stepp, Mickey Stepp, Jennifer Sanders and Alicia Bass; and his great grandchildren, Gracie Lynn Bass and Austin Stepp.
