It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Beatrice Harris of Canton, Mississippi, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Dennis Harris; and her granddaughter Robin Harris. She is survived by: her children, Tommy Harris, Edgar Harris (Jan) and Melissa Hartfield (Jimbo); her brother Leslie Williams (Buddy); and her grandchildren, Casandra Harris Ford, Ashley Harris, Jennifer Harris, Wendy Harris, Justin Harris, Steven Harris, Jesse Hartfield, Brandy Hartfield and John Hartfield. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Center Terrace Baptist Church or to the Alzheimer's Association.
