He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Boyd and Ozella Boyd (Gilbert); and his siblings, Virginia, Maybelle, Charles, Mack, James, Cody, Grace and Joe.

He is survived by: his children, Dr. Chris Gilbert Boyd, Anna Rose Metcalfe (Boyd) of Natchez, MS and Over; his wife Martha Elizabeth Boyd (Snyder); his daughter Mary Frances Boyd of Brookhaven, MS; his grandchildren, McLain and Mary Elizabeth; his children, Donald and Elizabeth Chenevert, Jr. (Boyd) of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Donald James Chenevert, III, Sarah Elizabeth Chenevert, Olivia Rose Chenevert and William Ulric Chenevert; his son Mac; and his grandchild Lacey Anne.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions for Ulric's granddaughter serving in Nairobi, Kenya as a Christian missionary teacher.
