We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2018, at the age of 97, Mavis Latham (Canton, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Edwin O'Briant (Elizabeth Montgomery O'Briant), Howard O'Briant (Catherine Wasson O'Briant) and Harold; and her sister-in-law Clara Mae "Sit" Latham. She is survived by: her spouses, Ira A. and Toxey Hall; her daughters, Haley, Lacey and Karon Hall (Toxey); her sister Margaret Roberts of Memphis, TN; her stepsons, Carl Latham (Karen) of Anacortes, WA and David Latham (Linda) of Wentzville, MO; her granddaughters, Lisa Hall Norton (Ricky) of Canton, Jyl Latham (Chris) of St. Louis, MO, Shanie Latham of St. Louis, MO and Jenny Barker (Kyle) of Houston, TX; her great grandchildren, Haley Norton Cliburn, Lacey Norton of Canton and Lila Jane Brady of St. Louise, MO; her sister-in-law Bobbie Latham Roberts (Sonny) of Jackson; and also Lisa Hall Norton (Ricky). She is also survived by her parents, three husbands.
Mavis Latham passed away peacefully at the Madison County Nursing Home in Canton after a yearlong battle with Alzheimer's.
