It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella Wright Hopkins in Canton, Mississippi, born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Wright and Helen Wright (Henry); her son Timothy Scott Hopkins; and her husband Atwell Wayne Hopkins. She is survived by: her son Mark Wayne Hopkins (Marty Hopkins) of Canton, MS; her daughter-in-law Dee Hopkins of Blacksburg, VA; and her grandchildren, Will Hopkins (Hannah Anne Scott), Clay Hopkins and Collette Herrington.
