He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Troy Fortenberry and Syble Jackson Fortenberry; his spouse Shirley Fortenberry; his daughter Kristi Cameron; his stepdaughter Diane Yonkerrs; his brother Phillip Fortenberry (Thelma); his nieces and nephews, Phillip Fortenberry, II (Laurie), Troy Clinton Fortenberry, II (Laci), Danielle West and Douglass Saletel (Mike); and his cousins, Jack Jackson and Earl Jackson. He was also cherished by two grandchildren; three step grandchildren.
