He is survived by: his children, Gregory Brooks of Portland, OR and Kimberly Brooks Gilliam (Clifton) of San Marcos, TX; and his sister Lee Ann Petrick (David) of Austin, TX. He is also survived by numerous cousins, two nephews, and a large extended family.
