It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hershel Fulton Johnson of Canton, Mississippi, born in Noxapater, Mississippi, who passed away on January 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beamon Johnson and Margaret Fulton Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kinard Johnson; his children, Julianne Paunescu (Razvan) and David Johnson (Tonja); his grandsons, Hank and Ned Johnson; his sister Janell Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Edwin Kinard (Maxine) and Lynda Kinard Wingfield (Clinton). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266) or Gateway Rescue Mission (PO Box 3763, Jackson, MS 39207).
