He was predeceased by: his son Kenny Thurman; his parents, B. A. Thurman and Edna Berry Thurman; and his brother Ed Thurman. He is survived by: his children, Eddie Thurman of New Hebron, MS and Angie Thurman Purser (Wilson) of Puckett, MS; his grandchildren, Wilson Purser III of Puckett, MS, McKenzie Purser of Puckett, MS and Maddie Purser of Puckett, MS; his great grandchild Cayson Moran; his stepsons, Paul Lewis and Chad Lewis of Canton; his sister Sybil Thurman Sills of New Hebron, MS; and his stepgranddaughter Gabby Lawrence of Canton, MS. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
