He is survived by: his wife Ruth Brooks Ray; his children, Jeffrey Ray and Leigh Ann Irby (Tal); his grandchildren, Cole Irby (Bailey) and Leah Brooke Irby (Brayden Brumfield); his siblings, Modena Henry (Leon) and Alma Gunter; and his cousin Charlotte Biedenharn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
