He was predeceased by: his parents, Burke Murphy and Lou Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Bo (Emily) and Dees (Jody); his grandchildren, Gray and John Burke Murphy of Madison; and his children, Reid, William, Mabry Murphy of Houston, Texas, Mamie, Rachel and Caleb Britt of Madison.
