She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Vern Ellis; and her parents, John Cook and Ella Mae Gant Cook. She is survived by: her children, Robert Ellis (Shan), Jerry Ellis (Tammy) and Dena Ellis; her grandchildren, Christopher (Nade), Tayvi and Brittany; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, John Maris and Sonny Mayes.
