It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Brown of Calhoun City, Mississippi, born in Big Creek, Mississippi, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edd Boland and Ary Carter Boland; her husband Prentice Donovan Brown; her sisters, Carrie Bounds, Clara Bounds, Maybelle Whitworth and Louise Easley; her sons, Frank Boland, Pete Boland, Jinks Boland, Coot Boland and Melvin Boland; and her daughter-in-law Beth Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Brown of Calhoun City, MS, Janis B. Morgan (Sam) of Hackleburg, AL and Donna B. Bird (Michael) of Meridian, MS; and her grandchildren, Lynn Brown (Melanie), Christopher Brown, Marty Brown (Gretchen), Stephen Morgan (Jessica), Emily Lackey, Matthew Morgan (Angela), Andrew Morgan (Sara) and Anna Ray Sherman (Scott). She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
