He was predeceased by: his father Joe Grady Denton; and his grandparents, Joel Russell Denton, Nancy Skelton Denton, Carson Oglesby and Grace Beck.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Oglesby Denton; his wife Donna Gail Denton; his children, Trista Tidwell (Royce) of Bruce, Pam Cox (C. J.) of Synica, IL, Jason Denton (Taren) of Gluckstadt, Daniel Denton of Vardaman, Brandon Denton (Brittany) of Bruce and Sean Lynch of Fayetteville, NC; his siblings, Doug Denton (Brandy) of Calhoun City, Debbie Denton Watts (Derril) of Arab, AL and Cynthia Denton Fowler (Jeff) of Walthall; his close friend R. M. England; and his friend John.
