He is survived by: his wife Tywana Berryhill of Calhoun City, MS; his son Rokedrick Mays (Josilyn) of Oxford, MS; his goddaughter Kadaishia Harper of Vardaman, MS; his siblings, Wanda Robinson of Slates, Jessie Berryhill (Melissa) of Calhoun City, MS, Lindsay Berryhill of Pascagoula, MS and Leslie Berryhill of Slate Springs, MS; his parents-in-law, Henry and Dorothy Petty of Calhoun City, MS; his sister-in-law Vanessa Culley (Shon) of Calhoun City, MS; his aunt Sherley Strode of Gore Springs, MS; and his sibling Viny Varnado (Chasity) of Kansas City. He is also survived by sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clark-Williams Funeral Home Inc. (602 Cherry St, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Greater Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church (35935 MS-8, Gore Springs, MS 38929). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Double Springs Cemetery.
