She was predeceased by: her father James Elvis Logan; her husband Dr. Charles William Shannon; her mother Dovie May Ferguson Logan; her siblings, Wynette Gatewood and Elvis Lynn Logan (Sue); and her grandparents, Howard, Ethel Ferguson, James Henry and Maggie Logan.
She is survived by: her children, James W. Shannon (Alice) of Fort Walton Beach and Charlsia Lyn Fortner (James) of Arlington, Virginia.; and her nephew Joey Gatewood (Linda) of Forest, Mississippi..
