He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skinner, Sr. and Pauline Watkins; and his wife Charlotte Young. He is survived by: his sister Peggy Skinner of Vardaman, MS; his daughters, Sonya Skinner of Hoover, AL, Amy Edmondson (Paul) and Tara Grizzard (Shane); his grandchildren, Ashley Hughes, Payton Edmondson, Kenneth Walls, Elizabeth Grizzard, Emma Grizzard and Everett Grizzard; and his great grandchild Sawyer Hughes.
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, the family is having an intimate family Graveside service for Daddy on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at 1:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery in Vardaman.
