It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hal Reese of Calhoun City, Mississippi, born in Vardaman, Mississippi, who passed away on October 24, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Reese Sr. and Maxine Reese; and his brother Dr. Andy Reese. He is survived by: his wife Olivia Reese of Calhoun City, MS; his children, Edie Elizabeth Montalvo (Ray) of McComb, MS, Caroline Gilder (Jefferson) of Collierville, TN and Benjamin Howell Reese III of Calhoun City; his sisters, Betty Lindsey (Danny) of Cleveland, MS and Hilda Hemphill of Calhoun City, MS; and his grandchildren, Maurice "Reese" Joseph Dulpantis IV of Covington, LA, Austin Howell "Hal" Duplantis of McComb, MS, Suzannah Olivia Gibson Gilder of Collierville, TN and Josephine Frances Edlyn Gilder of Collierville, TN.. He is also survived by his three children, his grandchildren, and Olivia's son-in-laws.
