He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Fox Gregg and Jewel Gregg; his wife Edna Vance Gregg; and his stepson John Paul Vance. He is survived by: his son Daniel Gregg (Courtney Monroe) of Castle Rock, CO; his stepchildren, Michael Jones (Anita) of Grenada, Margie Golden (Cliff) of Slate Springs and Susie Cardwell (Johnny) of Slate Springs; his siblings, Denny Gregg of Slate Springs and Sylvia Fulgham (Travis) of Bellefontaine; his stepdaughter-in-law Cheryl Vance of Slate Springs; his grandchildren, Piper Monroe Gregg, Maverick Monroe Gregg, Cliff Lee (Tanya), Michael Joe Lee and Taylor Shook (Patrick); and his nephew Benje Fulgham. He is also survived by five step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great grandchild.
