It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher DeWayne Jones of Calhoun City, Mississippi, born in Houston, Mississippi, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Jones; his grandparents, Doyle Ellis, Jean Gann, Roy and Lois Jones; his stepbrother Chris Spencer; and his stepparents, Gale Jones and Joe Walker.
He is survived by: his mother Shelia Ellis Walker of Amory, MS; his wife Rhonda Jones of Coffeeville; his stepsons, Dillon Hardin of Coffeeville and Robert Lee Goodwin of Coffeeville; his sister Katrina Murphy (Nick) of Amory; his stepbrother Jason Walker (Kayla); and his nieces and nephews, Jolie Murphy of Amory, Jaycie Walker, Derrick Murphy of Amory, Kirkland Spencer of Big Creek and Dakota Walker.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pryor Funeral Home (109 S Monroe St, Calhoun City, MS 38916). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
