She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest L. Murphree and Maudie Stribling Murphree; her husband William Tryon Burt; her brothers, Wilbur Murphree, Hubert Murphree, Lee Murphree, Roy Murphree and Paul Murphree; her son-in-law Donald G. Clark; and her grandson John Martin Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Miriam Clark of Pontotoc and W. T. "Sonny" Burt, Jr. (Rhonda) of Houlka; her grandchildren, Don Clark of Germantown, TN, Wesley Forrest Clark of Hattiesburg and Charlsie Alexander (Rory) of Bruce; and her great grandchildren, Audrey Christine Crocker, William Durrell Alexander and Harrison Burt Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Poplar Springs Cemetery Fund.
