With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chodie Terrell Myers of Calhoun City, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chodie Terrell Myers, Sr. and Lorena Putnam Myers; his wife Judy Harrelson; his sister Jean Norman; his granddaughter Madison Claire Loveless; his niece Kristi Norman; and his nephew Steven Norman.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Myers (Stephanie) of Batesville, Laurie Denley (Micheal) of Calhoun City and Tiffany Loveless (Steve) of Hendersonville, TN; his brothers-in-law, Dr. Tommy Norman of Calhoun City and Ken Harrelson (Janice) of West Point; his grandchildren, Kaylan Kodatsky (Sam), Mallory Myers, Lauren Long (JB), Jon Garrett Denley (Sarah Beth), Laken Loveless and Addy-Parker Loveless; his great grandchildren, Judith Long and Woodson Long; his niece Susan Coletta of Calhoun City; and his nephews, Dr. Bradley Harrelson of Niceville, FL and Dr. Ben Harrelson of Starkville.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calhoun City First Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Calhoun City First Baptist Church.
