With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathy Rimmer of Calhoun City, Mississippi, born in Bruce, Mississippi, who passed away on October 26, 2021 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Shumpert and Hazel Boughtman Shumpert; her husband John Rimmer; and her siblings, Peggy Brassfield, George Shumpert, Darell Shumpert, Jim Shumpert and Edmond Shumpert, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Chasta Rimmer of Calhoun City and Denise Rimmer of Green Bay, WI; her siblings, Benny Shumpert of Gulf Shores, Dean Shumpert (Diann) of Treemont, Lounell Shumpert of Calhoun City and Edna Shumpert of Calhoun City; and her grandchildren, Jakob Haynes, Lila Rimmer, Havana Gonzalez, Izaiah Gonzalez and Gabriella Gonzalez.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Pryor Funeral Home to help with expenses.
