It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewlean Lewis of Caledonia, Mississippi, born in Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Osy Lewis and Gladis Lewis; her sisters-in-law, Alice Marie Lewis and Annie Grace Lewis; and her nephew Sean Chambers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Odell Lewis of Riverdale, GA, Annie Chambers of Caledonia, MS, Larry Lewis of Columbus, MS, Cleveland Lewis (Tina) of Columbus, MS, Melvin Lewis (Bernice) of Columbus, MS and Marvin Lewis of Jackson, MS; and her aunts and uncles, Robert Jones (Katie) of Corpus Christi, TX, Roy Jones (Pearl) of Columbus, MS, Marie Henry of Columbus, MS and Mary Jones of Columbus, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carter's Funeral Services - Columbus (602 14th St N, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Christian Center Baptist Church (1621 Mike Parra Rd, Columbus, MS 39705). A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 176 S Frontage Rd, Columbus, MS 39701.
