She was predeceased by: her brothers, David Lawrence, William Lawrence (Billy) and Tommy Lawrence. She is survived by: her husband Danny Atkins of Vernon; her daughter Leslie Kaye Howard Smith (Michael) of Birmingham, AL.; her stepgranddaughter Allison Dove of Vernon; her brother John Lawrence of LaGrange, GA; her father Leslie; and also, David Roland of Birmingham, AL., Zachary Bryant Smith of Birmingham, AL., Louise Lawrence, Paul Atkins, Linda Atkins of Ethelsville and Regina Atkins of Caledonia. She is also survived by nieces. nephews, cousins, patients and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Chron's and Colitis Foundation, the Lowndes County Humane Society or to Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
