He was predeceased by: his parents, Lela Mixon Jacobs and Leroy Buck Jacobs; and his siblings, Agnes Jacobs Noland of Robert and Leon Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kay; his children, Gary Jacobs, Jr. (PJ) of Caledonia, MS, Robert Jacobs (Tamara) of Caledonia, MS, Sherry Taylor (Arl) of Pass Christian, MS and Donna Maloney of Columbus, MS; his stepchildren, James Wood (Opal) of Tulsa, OK, Chris Green (Jenny) of Tupelo, MS, Jason Wood (Ashley) of Fairbanks, AK and Trudy Cook (Ray) of Steens, MS; and his sister Nelda Duncan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
