It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elzie Ray Murphy of Caledonia, Mississippi, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Robinson Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Murphy Garriga (Carey) and Tim Murphy (Wanda); his grandchildren, Brandon Garriga (Lauren), Kari Ann Garriga (Graham), Josh Murphy (Jessica) and Stacie Murphy Coleman (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Grayson Garriga, Anna Peyton Garriga, Pierce Garriga, Scotlyn Murphy, Scarlett Murphy, Laila Coleman, Caroline Coleman, Ruby Coleman, Isla Woods and Walker Woods.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory (716 2nd Ave N, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
