She was predeceased by: her husband James Larry West; and her sister Lynn Carr. She is survived by: her parents, Charles Gaskin (Renette) and Shirley Jones Groceman (Paul); her daughter Megan Grey; her grandsons, Aiden Grey and Abel Grey; and her siblings, Janet Dale Roark, Ray Groceman and Ryan Groceman.
