He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Cummings; and his children, Jan Ray (Vernon) of Terry, Carol Turnage (Jim) of Brandon, Sanford "Marty" Cummings, Jr. (Cheryl) of Leesburg, VA and Madeleine Sanders (Lynn) of Lumberton, TX. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
