She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Norris and Venus Norris; her husband Claude W. Smith; her son Mike Smith; and her siblings, Hershell, Grady, Lillan, Cortis Norris, Rachel Jones, Sue McDonald and Marie Blackwell.

She is survived by: her son Milton Smith of Florence; and her sisters, Helen Mooney of Crystal Springs, Linda Sherman of Taylorsville and Ernestine Ervin of Collins.
