He is survived by: his wife Jean Ryder of Byram; and his children, Michael Ryder, Jr. of Byram, Carol Ramer (David) of Raymond, Marlene Coleman of Jackson and Rhonda Whatley (Ric) of Raymond. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
