He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bishop and Annie Belle Kelly Bishop; and his brother W. E. Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Carol Bishop; his children, Sherie Bryant (Danny) of Hattiesburg, Suzanne Sikes of Nashville, Sheila Gambill (Doug) of Jackson, Steven Bishop of Jackson, Robert Stripling (Becky) of Thaxton and Melissa Irby (Braxter) of Oxford; and his sister Ann Connor. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
