He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Mackey Posey and Wytoxcey Griffin; and his brothers, Jerry Posey and Terry Posey. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Carr Posey; his children, Nicholas Shawn Posey (Mary) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Jessica Posey Watkins (Ray) of Brandon, MS; and his grandsons, Ethan Ray Watkins and Matthew Reid Watkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
