He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Rushing and Bessie Hayes Miley; his daughter Gwen Sanders; and his siblings, Lonnie Rushing Miley, Jr., James Lynn Miley and Margaritte Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Miley of Magee; and his children, Richard Phillips of Florence, Jimmy Phillips (Mary) of Richland, Barbara Myers (Terry) of Sumiton, AL and Melissa Evans (Mark) of Florence. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
